Verify a Berkshire certificate

For employers, universities and authorities. Online verification opens with the first certificates issued under the new system.

Check a document

Online verification on this site starts when the first Berkshire certificates are issued under the new system.

Certificates issued earlier are checked on our previous verification page: students.berkshireuniversity.us. For anything else, write to [email protected].

How it works

How verification will work

  1. Scan the QR code

Every certificate and transcript carries a QR code. Scanning it opens the record on this site.

  2. Enter the number and code

Both are printed on the document. The code is eight digits, typed with or without the dash. It prevents anyone guessing a certificate number, and checking pauses after five wrong codes for the same number.

  3. Read the result

You see the status of the certificate, the graduate's name, the degree, the date it was awarded and who issued it.

What each status means

  • Active

The certificate was issued by Berkshire University and is valid.

  • Suspended

The certificate is under review. Contact the registrar before relying on it.

  • Revoked

The certificate has been withdrawn and is no longer valid.

Certificates issued before this site opened

Documents issued earlier are checked on our previous verification page, which stays available: students.berkshireuniversity.us. Their records move to this page later, and the earlier page stays until they do.
